The Three Elms is a traditional family friendly pub in an idyllic location, just three miles from the centre of Chelmsford. We guarantee a warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. Along with the feeling of being 'away from it all', we offer real ales, real ciders and good food.
Since reopening at the end of 2010 The Three Elms has quickly built a reputation for good quality and value food. Our varying and constantly changing menu includes homemade offerings, locally sourced produce and traditional fayre. Eating with us is recommended but not compulsory! As a real country pub a drink and a chat is always on the menu!
Now happily entering our third year, we have steadily built up our range of beers, ciders and, more importantly, a great number of loyal regulars. A great atmosphere still awaits those of you that haven't paid us a visit yet.
Chef/Landlord Pete has his hands full not only inventing freshly prepared dishes for our main menu, but also keeping up with our unique homemade array of Bar Snacks. Best sellers include pork scratching, pork pies, scotch eggs, olives, breads and breakfast balls. These seem to be equally as popular to take away as they are for eating in. So, apologies if we run out from time to time - being freshly prepared we can't just grab some from the freezer!
We look forward to seeing you! Cheers!

We've made it into the Good Beer Guide 2013! Not bad in less than two years. We'd like to thank our Ale & Cider makers & suppliers for the Quality of product with out which we could not have done it. Most of all we would like to thank our loyal customers who faithfully indulge in enough pints to keep our beverages in top form.
Cheers to all!
